Sweet Luncheonette
Brand Narrative, Media Placement & Social Strategy — St. Marys, GA / GA–FL Coast
The Answer Built Inside Four Walls
Sweet Luncheonette is a woman-owned luxury micro bakery in St. Marys, Georgia, specializing in high-end wedding cakes for the GA/FL coastal destination market. It also operates a wine studio hosting monthly intimate events — tastings, workshops, and collaborative vendor and charity activations. But what makes Sweet Luncheonette a genuinely different kind of brand story is Serenity.
When the owner’s daughter was diagnosed with autism, she did not wait for a workforce program or an inclusion initiative. She redesigned her business around her daughter’s development, teaching her food safety, event setup, and customer service from the ground up. Now 16, she has been working inside the business for a decade. According to the Autism Society of America, up to 85% of autistic adults with college degrees are unemployed or underemployed. This family looked at that number and built an answer inside their own kitchen.
A Powerful Story With No Platform to Tell It
Sweet Luncheonette had a brand story that deserved a much larger stage — conscious entrepreneurship, social impact, artisan luxury, and a decade-long commitment to a daughter’s future. But the owner was overextended running both the bakery and the wine studio, with no capacity to translate that story into consistent media presence or digital visibility. The brand was earning word-of-mouth traction locally, but its reach stopped at the county line. BoldMoves™ was brought in to build the narrative architecture and get it in front of the right rooms.
Build the Narrative. Place the Story. Expand the Reach.
BoldMoves™ identified what Sweet Luncheonette already had — a brand story with genuine social impact at its core — and built the strategy to make it visible. The approach centered on narrative development first, media outreach second, and sustainable social infrastructure third.
- Developed the brand narrative positioning the owner as a solutionary entrepreneur who built workforce inclusion inside her own business
- Secured a regional print feature in The Brunswick News, the paper of record for Coastal Georgia’s Camden County market
- Secured a regional television feature with News4Jacksonville, extending the story to the broader GA/FL coastal media market
- Built social media content strategy across Facebook and Instagram aligned to luxury brand aesthetics and community trust
- Positioned all three revenue streams — wedding cakes, wine events, sugar flower classes — with distinct messaging for audience development
- Developed platform-specific content frequency and hashtag strategy for Instagram discoverability in the destination wedding market
What Earned Visibility Built
The Brunswick News — Regional Print Feature
Secured a regional print feature in The Brunswick News, the paper of record for Coastal Georgia’s Camden County market, establishing the brand’s story with credibility across the St. Marys region and beyond.
News4Jacksonville — Regional TV Feature
Placed a regional television segment with News4Jacksonville, expanding the brand’s story to the broader GA/FL coastal audience and introducing Sweet Luncheonette to a new market of potential wedding and event clients.
Multi-Platform Content Structure Established
A clear, sustainable content strategy was built across Facebook, Instagram, and web, freeing the owner to focus on operations while maintaining a consistent, high-end brand presence.
Three Revenue Streams Positioned for Growth
Distinct strategies were developed for wedding cakes, monthly wine events, and sugar flower classes, each with its own messaging, audience approach, and promotional structure aligned to a 12-month revenue growth objective.
In our decision to scale our business, we needed direction. BoldMoves began with a comprehensive Strategic Planning session that defined our brand for the high-end hospitality and event circuit. The strategic foundation ensured their subsequent PR requirements were laser-focused. The team’s expertise and plan for my business drastically increased our engagement with key vendors. Our bookings and brand perception have never been stronger. They are essential to our growth.
The Kitchen Table Is a Boardroom Too
This owner did not need a corporate inclusion initiative. She built one. Sweet Luncheonette is a brand with real stakes, real impact, and a story that earns attention in any room — local, regional, or national. BoldMoves™ gave that story structure, placed it in front of the right audiences, and built the media foundation to grow from a position of earned visibility rather than borrowed momentum.
